Connecting Sales and Money to Spiritual Life


I have developed a new sales letter, complete with commissions and free trips, in order to include others in my profits. They make money, I make money.

I cut down my mailing list to five hundred; second, I plan to personally call most of the people on my list; third, as I speak to them, if they feel and sound right, I will include them in my sales plan. They will be part of my sales team. We will all work together.

In other words, my customers will also become my sales agents.

Sounds good. Itisgood. Will it work? No one knows for sure. However, what is for sure is that this sales plan motivates me. I’ll do the calling, selling, and pushing. Even though I can’t speak for others, I can speak for myself. Thus, in terms of my own personal commitment, the sales plan is an unquestionable winner.

Sales and Inner Vision


Sales focuses the mind outward. That’s fine. But it can also distract the mind from the inward journey. In doing so one risks a deterioration of the inner vision. Slowly your passion diminishes; you forget why you’re doing things in the first place.

Inner vision is the source for outer action. It is the invisible electricity that lights the bulb. Without it there is only darkness.

During the past two months, sales have distracted me from my inner vision. Leading a debtless life, along with a renewed focus on selling my tours, have drawn my mind so far outward that I have lost sight of my center. This is manifested by lack of desire to read, study, or do anything to push myself up the ladder of growth. My inner core has been pummelled, squeezed, forgotten, and lost.
