Professor Dr. Marc Jeschke received his MD from the Eberhard-Karls-University, Tübingen, Germany, in 1994 and his PhD in experimental surgery (molecular biology) from the University of Regensburg, Germany, in 2002. Dr. Jeschke was appointed director of the Ross Tilley Burn Centre (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre) in 2010. Currently, he holds appointments in the department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, Department of Immunology. He holds the chair of burn research and is a professor of surgery at the University of Toronto, Canada.

Univ. Professor Dr. med. Lars-Peter Kamolz is a professor and director of the Division of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Surgery, LKH- University Hospital Graz - Medical University Graz, Austria. He is also head of the Research Unit for Safety in Health at the Medical University Garz, Austria. 

Profe sor Folke Sjöberg received his medical degree from the Linköping University Hospital, Linköping, Sweden in 1983 and his PhD from the same university in 1990. Since 1996, he has been the director of the Burn Center there. Professor Sjöberg has been a professor of Burn Surgery/Critical Care at the University of Linköping, since 2000. He is the author or co-author of more than 200 scientific articles in international journals.

Steven E. Wolf graduated in medicine from the University of Texas, USA, in 1990. In 2018, he was named the Chief of Staff of the Shriners Hospital for Children-Galveston and professor and vice-chairman for finance at the University of Texas Medical Branch in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Wolf also holds the Joseph D and Lee Hage Jamail Distinguished Endowed Chair. He has been the Editor-in-Chief of the journal 'Burns' since 2004.
