WHAT IF GOD WAS WITHIN YOU ALL ALONG? As we shift away from the age of polarity and devotion, an undercurrent of dissatisfaction stirs in the hearts of spiritual seekers. Many are awakening in this new age of synthesis; an age which will be forged in the fires of self-transformation and spiritual sovereignty. Birthing within these metaphysical pioneers is a yearning for self-actualisation, a desire to forego external worship, and a tendency to lay aside the tools and spells of this physical realm as they answer a powerful calling to recognise and reconnect with the God within. But with no clear path to follow, various states of physical, emotional, egoic, psychological, energetic, and spiritual discord and disease are manifesting in their bodies. The path from devotion to spiritual sovereignty is deeply personal and profoundly empowering, but it demands a strong constitution and a willingness to accept the responsibilities that are too easily laid at the feet of our deities of old. The path, however unique, is also riddled with some foreseeable pitfalls which can be more smoothly navigated if the spiritual explorer is properly prepared. As one who has trodden (and who continues to tread), this is my message to you... . . . . Amy is a naturopath (BHSc) specialising in nervous system and endocrine health. Since the age of 24, she has worked as a mentor and facilitator in the fields of personal, metaphysical, spiritual and psychological insight, transformation, and healing. With no question being too small, and no answer being too big, Amy is a keen explorer of those hidden inner realities which weave our form-focused experience into existence, searching for truth in the depth of the smallest atom, and in the breadth of the expansive cosmos.

CHAPTER 3

Your Body is Karmic

~~~
In each life, our bodies are built specifically for the fulfillment of immediate purpose, but the soul’s overarching goal and mission is also an eternal one. The soul is seeking to evolve across all its lifetimes and does not view these apparently separate embodiments in isolation. Built into each body is the means and the potential to heal and clear karma which has accumulated in other embodiments and lifetimes.
Karma is a loaded and little understood universal law. It simply describes the flow of energy, but unfortunately it has been misconstrued through various religious and spiritual teachings and not only has undue emphasis been placed on it, but it has also been used to justify some abhorrent behaviour with claims that “it is your karma to suffer at my hands”. This is akin to justifying bloodshed and war because it is done in the name of your God. This is false and a delusion of the negative ego. It is never right for any individual to deliberately and knowingly inflict harm on another while claiming to be carrying out God’s will. God is love and love seeks to uplift, just as karma does not seek to punish, but seeks instead to encourage evolution and the development of further love and compassion.
Karma is in the hands of life itself – it is a universal law, akin to the laws of nature which simplyare, and it is not something that can be wielded or harnessed by humans. No war or killing is justified by any person’s claim that it is God’s wish. A God which wishes harm and delivers suffering as a form of punishment is not a God at all, but rather is an unfortunate human construct.
Very simply, there are choices and for each choice there are consequences. This is neither a bad nor a good thing – it just is. There is no God looming over you and tallying up your points, measuring you against a set of predetermined and unforgiving criteria and deciding, once and for all, whether you are a good or a bad person; things are not quite so black and white, not so hard and fast, not so clear cut.
Basically, all energy trends towards a state of harmony. All energy, in its various states and stages of evolution, is seeking unity with its true nature – with love and with life itself. All things seek to learn, to grow, to be challenged and to evolve in an unrelenting effort to achieve synthesis, wholeness, completion and harmony.
If a choice is made which causes disharmony, then the energy which has been expended must ultimately be brought back into a state of harmony, and ideally it must be better off (more evolved or closer to god) as a result of the experience which has been had. Choices and consequences.
If you, in your attempts to grow and explore and have experience, create discord, you are responsible for bringing that discord into a more enlightened and harmonious state. This is karma.
All things are energy. All thoughts, all feelings, all projections, all experiences, all relationships, all “material” things, and all choices are energy in motion. They are the activity of energy. You are, as we all are, responsible for your entire energetic output and contribution. No thought is without consequence, no action is without consequence, no feeling is without consequence, no life is without consequence.
Karma is the accumulated consequence of the choices that you, as a human and as the soul, have made through time. It is the total output of your energy and activity in the realm of form. Have you contributed love, healing, insight, wisdom, peace, upliftment? Or have you contributed fear, hatred, jealousy, greed, lust, selfishness, gluttony?
Ultimately, every balance sheet must be positive; the accumulated energetic output of each individual and, eventually, each soul, must be a positive contribution to the god of which we are all a part – a contribution which uplifts the whole. A healthy cell in the body is neither cancerous nor neutral – it is a cell which contributes health and vitality as well as new experience and potential to the organism at large.
Each soul lives many lives. In its attempt to grow and experience, the s
