The book aims to chart the historical“Process of Authority”, i.e. the dynamics of the reception and transmission of biblical master-texts and of other texts related to the“biblical worlds” in different historical periods and contexts. This dynamics is examined by studies of particular texts, textual variants, translations and processes of transmission.
